Frank Imundi
Frank Imundi, born in New York City in 1946, inherited a family
tradition of public service: his father was a New York City Fire
Chief and his uncle a United States Marshal.
Mr. Imundi received his B.S. in Management from St. John's University,
and, at age 22, joined the New York City Police Department. He
rose rapidly through the ranks as a result of his outstanding
investigative skills, and in a near-record two years was promoted
to Detective.
For the next fifteen years, he worked on countless cases and
was awarded fifteen Citations for Excellence. During the last
eight of those years, Mr. Imundi was a member of New York District
Attorney Robert Morgenthau's prestigious investigative unit, handling
intricate high-profile white collar and organized crime cases.
Mr. Imundi retired from the Department in 1985.
That same year, recognizing the private sector's need for high-level,
low-cost investigative and security options, he launched Mundi
International Security Services Inc.
In addition, Mr. Imundi is active in a variety of national and international industry organizations, including the National Council of Investigation & Security Services, American Society for Industrial Security, National Association of Legal Investigators, Society of Professional Investigators and World Association of Detectives. He is also a charter member and 2nd Vice President of the World Investigators Network.
